The IDEM BMF-M RFID Safety Switch provides reliable non-contact safety for machinery and equipment. Designed to safeguard operators and prevent accidents, it features an M18 cylindrical design, with a wide 10mm sensing distance for reliable operation. The 316 stainless steel, mirror-polished housing is tested IP69K, ensuring durability in strict washdown environments.

It provides a high level of resistance to external tampering and features a single LED for device status display, making it ideal for industries requiring compact, robust, and easy-to-install safety solutions.The flexible cable outlet supports connection via a pre-wired cable or an M12 male connector, offering versatility for a wide range of applications.

For master coded types (M), any actuator will operate any switch. If an actuator needs to be re-placed, a re-teach process is required. Power down – place new actuator to switch – Power up.
